Iron Maiden - Live After Death (DVD)

近期很少看live,包括很久之前買下的都沒有時間看.....趁著今天有空,我終於看了這個上年年中買下的(!!)"鐵娘子"在85年LA Long Beach Arena收錄的現場演出----經過了23年的時光終於出了DVD版本.

這場堪稱Maiden史上最強的live performance,一點也沒有誇張...單是看他們全盛期的黃金陣容演出,就已經夠照;從開頭"Aces High"至結尾的"Running Free",全隊都彷似Eddie上了身一樣極度投(融)入演出:Bruce Dickinson全場奔跑滿場飛好像有用不完的力氣,Steve Harris獨特的bass line及solo依然殺食, Adrian Smith同Dave Muray的招牌double lead solo則如左右雙槍般在台上輪流發砲,而更加厲害的是當時剛加入的Nicko Mcbrain多變化的drumming及超勁的drum solo(solo果陣仲可以戴面具搞笑)...不知道他們是否嗑了藥? haha.

而且這一live的最大珍貴之處,就是看(聽)他們玩84年"Powerslave"的首本名曲"Aces High"!!!這一首極度好聽而且那麼classic的樂曲,樂隊在往後(甚至現在)的日子卻是幾乎完全唔玩咁滯,真係奇怪....

不知道我可以何時看一次Iron Maiden的現場呢.......?
