Somewhere Tomorrow (1983)

"色慾都市"(Sex and The City)女主角Sarah Jessica Parker早期的作品,是一套故事簡單,亦屬於低成本的一套80's青春劇,不過話雖如此,故事背後意義卻是饒有意思,有點和當時主流的teen drama的格式不同.

故事講述女主角Lori (Sarah Jessica Parker)年幼時一次飛機意外失去了父親,性格變得內向,對母親種種事情都看不順眼,尤其是母親賣了她至愛的牧馬場之後,更加憎恨其母親...直至有一天,Lori的好友準備帶來了一位買家Terry (Tome Shea)去看她的馬場,但在乘坐飛機的途中失事(又係飛機失事?真係橋...),她的好友僥倖逃過一劫,但Terry卻不幸死亡......但很奇怪的是,第二天Lori居然可以看得見,而且觸摸得到忽然在她家馬場出現,還差點將她嚇死的Terry靈魂,而其他人是看不到Terry的.他們二人都覺得很奇怪,互相討論後Lori覺得此事可能會跟他父親去世有關,於是便一起展開調查,而二人亦不知不覺間愛上了對方;之後Lori在一次墮馬中受重傷,昏迷中靈魂亦飛出了身體,想與Terry就此終此一生但被Terry所阻,認為Lori未到大限之期,而Lori的靈魂最終還是回到肉身大難不死.及後真相大白,Terry一直陰魂不散的原因,一切都在父親遺留下來的日記之中.......

劇情簡單而感人,而且故事還是80年代早期鮮有的"靈魂"題材(haha,所以衛斯理經常說自己作品被人借鏡,也不無道理),也探討了人在死後的世界會是怎麼模樣;這一切,都造就了日後大量的相同題材出現(最佳例子:90年的人鬼情未了"Ghost")...
順帶一提,Sarah在這套戲中充分顯示出她的多材多藝,有一幕是她自己自彈自唱60's country song真的非常悅耳......

我仍然非常懷念80's artist.
