Kiko Lourerio - Full Blast (2009)

一提起巴西的樂隊,就會不禁令人心酸----懷才不遇.

其中一隊,肯定是Angra.出道了16年,從"Angels Cry"到樂隊全盛期的"Fireworks",經歷了接近解散邊緣但奇蹟地如重生般復出的"Rebirth",及後去到最近的"Aurora Consurgens"都充分顯示了Angra作為一南美樂隊擁有的天賦本錢----拉丁血統的音樂素養,你可以在Angra任何一張專輯中可以聽得出這些特色.不過,雖然如此,樂隊成軍16年來的努力卻得不到相對的成就,至少在同系的音樂當中比不上年華老去的Helloween, Blind Guardian,甚至是還要比他們遲出來的Sonata Arctica, Nightwish等.

而現在樂隊中的靈魂人物結他手Kiko Lourerio,繼05年一鳴驚人的"No Gravity"及06年完全表現自己音樂涵養另一面,以Fusion/Jazz rock為主題的"Universo Inverso"之後,終於在09年發表自己的第3張solo"Fullblast".今作Kiko繼續找來了Mike Terrena打鼓,而bass則找了Angra的隊友Felipe Andreoli助拳,樂曲比重是比"No Gravity"時少了metallic的樂曲,但卻多了不少看家本領拉丁搖滾色彩的instrumental,多姿多采的結他licks,超高速的tapping solo....火力仍然毫不遜色於"No Gravity",變化多亦有如"Universo Inverso".

但同樣的,相比起出身美國的怪物結他手Jeff Loomis,儼然是兩個不同光景:Kiko只能靠日本的老家Victor及西班牙的中型班label Arise出版,能觸及的銷售面非常少;但Jeff的solo由自己樂隊Nevermore所屬的大牌Centry Media發行,CM跟Sony BMG有販賣區域的合作,所以CM的product可以比Arise更能銷售自家的產品...

同是天才,但只是因為出色地的少許差異而決定了他們的命運.

看著現在的音樂工業,都真的不得不嘆一口氣啊.
